Arise and Shine Work
This work was born out of a desire to help women BELIEVE who they are as daughters of God. To know their true identity, power and purpose, so that they can be, do and have everything that God created them for.
I see women all around me, as well as women online, struggling with doubts and fears related to their worth. Consistently apologizing, not for having done something wrong, but for not being or doing "enough." Suffering from the belief that's so pervasive in society that women are second class citizens (or worse depending on where you live). That something is somehow wrong with them, or that they're less than simply because they're women.
It makes me so angry and sad at the same time.
Compounding these feelings are the lies (of the enemy) and the labels (of the world) that women carry with them. Things they've accumulated along the journey of life in their childhood formative years and the way people spoke about them. As well as sins they've committed big, or small, that Satan uses to make them feel they can't be forgiven. Everyone else can, but not them.
BUT THE TRUTH IS...
Every woman is a beautiful daughter of a loving Heavenly Father, divine in nature, with infinite worth and limitless potential.
If we all BELIEVED that, imagine the change we could make in our own lives and the lives of the people around us. If we were all UNITED in believing these things about each other, imagine the change we could make in the world.
I have a burning desire within my soul that consumes me to help as many women as I can live out their God-given purposes (play their music) while they still can. And I believe that as long as you're still breathing, God still has music for you to play.
My heart is to work with introverted Christian women who feel like misfits, or outsiders, in Christian communities because they have unhealed wounds that cause them to question their worth. I feel that in serving these women, I will find many that come from broken, abusive childhood homes.
Whether physical, verbal, emotional, or sexual, abuse leaves it's mark. Sometimes, we bury the hurt so deeply as children to survive, that it takes a long time as adults to unbury it enough to let Christ heal those wounds.
My heart is to work with these women, because I am one of them. I know that God has called me to use my broken past, and my journey of healing with Him, to help other women like me do the same.
